0:00 GBP Optimization Cost Overview
Hey, I’m Jeremy with PushLeads and I help small businesses get more leads without struggle and frustration and on the radar today Is how much this Google Business Profile optimization cost to outsource and this is going to be real price ranges? What’s included and the red flags of cheap packaging? So before we get into cost, why does Google Business Profile optimization actually

0:24 Why Google Business Profile Matters in 2026
matter? So really, it’s actually your number one visible result whenever locals search for your service and of course AI also looks at your Google Business Profile as like the number one source that it refers to So if you’re not optimizing your business profile and you’re gonna be missing opportunities You’re not gonna show up in Google. You’re not gonna show up for AI and remember AI search in 2026 has gone from 6 % to 45 % AI searches for service based businesses. I keep repeating this in almost every video If it went from 6 to 45 % when somebody is searching for a service based business using a chatbot What’s it gonna go up to next year right in 27 28 beyond probably from 45 to 60 80 % AI is here to say AI is to I’m gonna try to say this AI is here To stay right and the AI Pandora’s box is open But anyway, your business profile matters to real people and AI to real people. We’re looking at profile views direction request We’re looking at the services things like that and then AI is looking at the exact same thing So let’s take a look at costs.

This is part of our Google Business Profile guide.

1:41 Three Price Tiers Explained
There are three price tiers You’re actually gonna encounter out there tier one tier two and tier three So tier one is like your budget tier. This is your light profile check -ins Maybe a post maybe a real human actually watching your account Generally you get what you pay for as far as this and the on the lower tier And be careful about that because you know a lot of times lowers cost Can be a scam or the whole thing It’s really not gonna do much for you tier two is 150 to 300 a month and this is real ongoing work with regular posts Review monitoring category updates monthly reporting and then tier three is 300 to $500 a month And this is sort of like local SEO citations your name address and phone number and not full business directories Probably some link outreach at the three to $500 level and competitive monitoring and maybe some deep strategy there So what a real service include at each level is basically the complete profile making sure the correct categories are done The surface areas are done the hours are verified the review response template is done at the at the 150 to 300 you’re gonna probably be getting bi -weekly post photo uploads active review monitoring month of report with call clicks and direct and request and then Three to 500 our citation ought up and clean up a local keyword strategy Q &A management and competitive benchmarking

3:07 What GBP Posts Actually Do for Ranking
So you’re paying and they were from 150 to three or $500 a month for this. What does this actually do for your ranking? So first of all before we talk about the actual everything let’s just talk about Google Post on your on your ranking, right? So when you have your Google Business Profile if I just do a search for my business and I can see here that I have 60 65 reviews at 4 .9 star rating down here These are sort of posts right so I’m posting these videos that are shorts as well as other things that are going on here This is what we’re talking about. This is an actual post. Does this actually help your ranking? The short answer is no it does not do much for your ranking But what it does do is keep your profile live It sends it sends your signal to Google that you’re actually a real business You’re open you’re engaged and Google wants to see that because if Google doesn’t see that you’re paying attention to any of your business Your Google Business Profile your website Then Google says you know what you don’t care about it. So I won’t care about it, right? So you really need to care about it And you should be doing two to four posts a month in my experience doing two to four posts a week is sort of like minimum But if you’re doing two to four posts a month, that’s important and then also the post types and then also the post type that actually work are dated offers, you know real job posts seasonal tips, I’m putting I’m putting my you know My videos that I’m doing on YouTube my shorts on here. That’s what I’m doing as well

4:44 Photo Uploads and Activity Signals
So now photo work is one of the things that agencies skip and Adding up and uploading regular photos to your profile is one of the things that actually does help ranking So profiles with more recent photos get more engagement and Google uses that as an activity signal So if you’re not uploading photos of real jobs or videos and you’re gonna lose out You should be doing that. So what a real service should be doing is uploading a photo every month I’d like to do two to five a week You should be uploading images with geotag metadata and the red flag is if no one ever asked you to send photos Then the optimization work isn’t real and remember About half a company is at our marketing companies quote -unquote marketing companies. They don’t do any work I mean, I’m just picking up clients left and right from clients who say their current agency isn’t doing any work So be sure your agency is doing work be sure you demand reports be sure you demand results or at least ask for results And if they can’t show you that then the real question is are they doing any work probably most of the time? They’re not right, but you might be working with a real agency. So if that’s case, then that’s awesome So these are red flags for cheap

5:59 Red Flags in Cheap GBP Packages
Google Business Profile packages a one -time permanent fee for a one -time fee for permanent results, right? So Google my business is an ongoing basis It requires ongoing maintenance editing profiles responding to reviews uploading photos Editing services if you’re not getting reporting If you can’t see views and call clicks and direction requests Then probably nothing is happening. Nothing’s being tracked And if you have a sort of template post with stock photos and generic cop and generic copy like proud to serve like community Then it’s probably just a bunch of bullarkey, right? So you don’t want the bullarkey, but you want the real thing not the bullarkey So here’s five questions to ask before you sign with somebody number

6:46 Five Questions to Ask Before You Sign
one What kind of deliverables that I get every month number two, how will you report the results and what metric will you track? Number three, how do you manage Google response? How do you manage responses to Google reviews or do I do it? And of course do you do it, right? And then what would you say you do here? And then four, how would you handle unauthorized edits to my profile and vibe? What’s your process if my ranking drops? So here’s a real work example

7:16 Real Work at $60 vs $200 per Month
from like 60 bucks a month versus $200 a month $60 a month buys this sort of This thing here where it’s like basically for 30 minutes $60 a month will buy you real labor and And whereas $200 a month is going to give you like two to three hours of work Where 60 bucks a month is going to give you like 30 minutes? So at the math the math doesn’t lie at 60 dollars a month you can update update if you’re Time if you have some time and you don’t want to pay someone to do this just do it yourself And you could probably update, you know the hours and maybe write one post and of course these days it is possible to automate some of this with AI You know so so definitely consider that

8:02 How to Benchmark Whether Service Is Working
And then how to benchmark whether your service is working you want to pull these numbers You want to look at your profile views your call clicks direction requests in the last 90 days And you want to compare the these previous these current 90 days the previous 90 days Ask your agency what the numbers were before if they were flat or declining that means if something is wrong If you’re not getting any data from the agency if they can’t if you’re not getting any data From your agency if they can’t show you historical numbers. They haven’t been watching your account

8:33 Review Velocity and Recency Factor
So let’s look at the review. So let’s look at the review So let’s look at the review velocity factor the agencies under sell so typically two per month of Consistent reviews often perform a boast So if you’re getting two reviews a month and there’s two consistent reviews a month that often performs really old reviews So Google wants proof that your business is actually serving customers right now And this whole thing of getting you know ongoing reviews or new reviews that was called Regency and Regency beats volume anytime So a real Google Business Profile that builds you repeat repeat So a real Google Business Profile service that builds repeatable review request system With a template a direct review link and follow up payments then you should be good to go with that

9:28 Price Tier Recap and Next Steps
So to recap what the price should buy you in plain term 80 to 150 dollars a month should be a complete correct maintenance profile Probably would just table stakes only 150 to 300 dollars a month as an active profile posting photo uploading review monitoring and reporting every month Three to 500 month is strategic partner bent Three to 500 dollars a month is strategic partner benchmarking competitors building citations targeting keywords and adjusting on data So what should you do so what should you do right now?
