0:00 PushUX UX Improver Overview and Purpose
Hey, how’s it going? I’m Jeremy with PushLeads, and we help small businesses get more leads without struggle and frustration. And what we’re doing in this video, I’m making this video for my virtual assistants that are working with me and my contractors, but I’m also putting this on YouTube, right? Because YouTube videos are super important, and YouTube is really about half the equation, right? For making videos show at the top of Google, for making content be recommended by AI. So what… in this video, what we’re doing is going over what’s called the UX Improver. And so what we have is a whole bunch of pages on PushLeads that have content, but there are no images or there’s no YouTube videos, or there’s no infographics on the page. And so a page with just text only isn’t really gonna be that appealing to a human, although AIs read it. And so our idea here is that we go through and start beautifying these pages and make them to where humans can read them and enjoy it. And potentially, if AIs put more weight on pages that have images or videos or infographics, m- things like that, then potentially an AI would put more weight on the page. So that’s a working theory that I haven’t been able to prove yet, but a lot of the experts I talk to in the field tell me that that makes a difference. So here on the left-hand side, we have a list of all… I’ll just maximize this. So here we have a scan of all the pages on PushLeads, which is around two thousand pages or so. And of those pages, of, uh… we have, like, eight hundred and seventy-one service pages. Five hundred and six of those pages are missing images or videos, and most of them are missing infographics. Same thing with location pages and blog pages and other pages. And so our idea here is to beautify these pages, right?
1:49 Manual First Approach Before AI Automation
So what we’ve come up with is a new type of automation that we’re gonna start off doing manually, because when we do things, we don’t start with an AI. We always start with a manual process. So if you are learning how to do AI automation, never just jump right into something, doing, uh, having an AI do something without you having a manual process first. Or at least that’s my opinion. Because if you let an AI take over, it will just go crazy. We don’t want to do that, right? So I’m calling this the UX Improver. And since everything is starting with Push because we’re PushLeads, I’m gonna call it PushUX. A fun name. But, uh, anyway, so what this is, is basically a UX Improver. So the purpose of this is that PushLeads is a large site with two thousand pages, so there’s a lot of pages that are missing images, like, like we talked about. So the purpose of this job is to do a scan of the entire PushLeads site and come up with a list of pages that have issues, and work on them. So we’ve already done a scan of the site, but this process really involves, number one, scanning the whole site. So scanning the site to find a list of issues, and then a spreadsheet. It will make, it will make a spreadsheet of fixes, right? And so there we go. And then next, what we’re gonna do is, in the spreadsheet, we’re going to understand the spreadsheet so that we can work on fixes, and we’re gonna also later on have Pr- Claude prompt Cl- We’re gonna have, uh, we’re gonna prompt Claude to make fixes automatically. I can’t talk today. And then we’re gonna update the spreadsheet. So the first thing we’re gonna do here is scan the site, and there’s a prompt at the bottom of this doc that will allow you to scan, run this prompt, and scan the site. Now, this has already been done, but I’m gonna go down to the bottom of the doc and down here, and here’s the prompt to scan the whole site. You can just copy this in, and it will scan the whole site. And anyone watching this video, you can ask Claude for your own prompt, or I can give you the prompt if you want it. But what we ended up with was this.
3:52 Reading the Spreadsheet of Missing Media
Wa-bam. So what we got here is a whole bunch of pages on the site. So column A is the page on the site, column B is the title. And then really, is it missing images in column G? Is it missing a video in column L? Is it missing an infographic in column M? If it is, then our job is to generate that, and we can just use AI tools to do that. And down the road, of course, our whole idea is that we have an automation that does this. But again, we’re gonna do it manually and understand it manually so that we don’t bollocks it up, right? All right, so let’s- Bollocks. Not even, probably not… It’s probably not even how people say it. Bollocks it up. So here’s step two, understanding the spreadsheet, which I’ve already gone through. The column A, the URL, column B, the page title, missing images, missing videos. And so what you’re gonna basically doing is just looking on this actual page and say, "Okay, we’re gonna start with this page number two in this example here." And we’re gonna open this page. So this page here in, in step two or in row four is missing images, it’s missing video, and it’s missing infographic. I can open this page to take a look at it, and you can see here, it’s just a text-only type page. First of all, it’s kind of missing space between the top and the bottom. It does have quick navigation. It does have a table in here, but it’s missing… And it does have an FAQ section. But it’s basically missing a whole bunch of other goodness, right? And so if anyone were to read this page, they might read it, but there’s just nothing in here visually that would make them want to stay on the page. I wouldn’t stay on the page. And so, so our, our idea is that we’re gonna beautify this page right here. So let’s get going. Okay, so what we’re gonna do here is start with this page. We’re gonna open the spreadsheet, we’re gonna find the page, and we’re gonna start doing some work on the page. So we’ve already done that on the spreadsheet. We went to column four. We opened this page. Here’s our page. We took a look at it. It’s kinda boring, blah, blah, blah. You so boring. It’s so basic. You so basic, right? So we’re gonna make this page not look so basic. And then what we’re gonna do here is work on generating AI images.
6:03 Generating AI Images with ChatGPT and Claude
So the first thing we’re gonna do here is open the spreadsheet, open the page that… which we’ve already done. And we’re gonna use the AI image generator to generate a hero image, a mid image, and a bottom image of the, of the page. Now, what I like to do is ask ChatGPT to come up with image ideas for the page. Even though Chat may or may not actually generate the image itself, this is a good place to do this. And of course, Claude can do the same thing. It really doesn’t matter what image, what you’re using, but we can use all the AIs, so we’ll use this one as well. So what I’m gonna do here is just copy the content of the page here, paste into the chat, and say, "Scan this page and come up with five different AI images for the page," or just images for the page. So it comes up with images ideas here, and Smart Bidding, control room, hero i- image idea, target CPA. And so we can really just tell it to generate image number one, and we want it to generate image one, two, and three. Why not? It’ll go ahead and start generating those images right here in ChatGPT, and then we can do the same thing with Claude. So go into Claude here. I’m pasting my content. So scan this page and come up with image ideas. It’s gonna do the same thing. Now, I don’t think Claude will do images. Of course, it may have changed, right? So why not? Let’s have it try to generate an image. It’s always about pushing the AI, right? See what it can do. So I asked it, "Can you generate images?" And it said, "Well, here’s what I could make." So yes, go ahead and generate images. Let’s go back to… Yeah, we already have an image here now. If you’re, if you have, like, an actual client, and they insist on real images, totally fine as well, right? Um, we’re just doing AI images for this example just ’cause they’re fast and easy, but you’re welcome to go ahead and, if you’re doing this for a client, and they have real– they wanna use real photography. I always think that real photography is much better than AI content, but we can go with either the direction, right? So we’re, you know, we’re gonna do AI images in this example. And then Claude has come up with examples here. Let’s go ahead and hunt over, hunt over to Midjourney. What am I even saying? All right. So I’m gonna go ahead and come up with this here. Take a look at these images. Finally, ChatGPT is actually getting words correct. That’s kinda cool. I’m saving that, and then I can save… Let’s see what the other one’s here. So I already have plenty of images just on just these two places here. Okay, saving all those. Here’s what Claude came up with. All right. Yeah, I can go ahead and just download all. All right, so I have plenty of images there. Good to go. All right. Back, back to it then. All right. Back to it then.
8:54 Naming Image Files and Adding to WordPress
We’re gonna then save the file name of these images as different variations of the article titles. So this is pretty critical here, that we don’t just put file name five four four five five five five zero nine nine q seven C six dot WebP ’cause, and ’cause basically AI and also Google reads the file names. So we should really have the file names describe the article, right? So let’s take a look, hey. So I’ve got all my files in a folder here now. And some of these are SVG files, some of these are PNG, some of these are WebP. Don’t worry about converting these to different formats. We have tools that will change everything to WebP if or when needed. So I’m gonna start with the top one here. This one here, this looks pretty awesome, pretty sexy. So we’re gonna take this one and rename this to the actual title of the article. So here’s our, our title here. Just gonna copy that title and go here and just paste the title there. Okay, so I’ve just renam- renamed it there. You don’t need to add dashes between the words, ’cause WordPress will do that automatically. All right, so there’s our title. There’s our image there, and we’re gonna go into WordPress, and we’re going to go ahead and clean this baby up. Now notice here, the first thing I’m doing is just gonna scroll down through the article to make sure there’s nothing, any weird spaces in there, some kinda weird JavaScript at the bottom that is a schema, right? So we’re gonna keep the schema in there. But you, so you don’t wanna de– you don’t wanna just sort of, um, delete schema. And we’re gonna add the hero image at the top here. Add media, upload files, and we’ll grab our little file here, and we have… Here it is. Now notice here that we have, we have alt text here, right? And, and it’s super important that we keep alt text, a title, a caption, and a description because these are four different areas that we can actually get credit for. And if we leave these blank, then we’re basically just losing out. So, so what I can do is just make a shorter version of the title here. I can also go to the article here and just grab a snippet of the TLDR and put that for the image caption. And then I can also say, I can also just grab a-any kind of headli- any kind of heading that applies, put that in the description, and I can even get this one here and put that one here as well. So we have the, we have an alt text, a title, image caption, and description. And if I want the title to be more interesting, I can drop it in there if I want. All right, so at this point, we’re done. I’m gonna do… We’re almost done. I’m gonna do alignment left. I’ll do full size. I’ll do large to keep it simple, and then insert into page. And then this should, will insert the image at the very top of the page. It actually did two of them because I had two selected, and then I deleted that one, so here’s our first image. So we’ve added the first image And now we’re gonna go down to the next section, and, and I can get– I can go here, what Smart Bidding strategy optimizes for value? Let’s go here and grab an image. I can grab this one here. It applies to the, to the article there. And I’m gonna take this one, and I’m gonna insert the image. Insert media. And then this one is more of like a square type image, so I’m gonna flush right on this image. And FYI, I’m not super worried about the large image size here. This is a really large image. We’re gonna make a smaller version of it, but again, I have tools that will go through and clean up the file size. So we’re not worried about that. But I am gonna put the alt text title and description in here. So I’m just gonna put Google Ad Smart Bidding. Drop a little piece in here. Gonna go s-slice of the sentence here, put that in here. Done. So we just added this one. I’m gonna make this one flush right, shrink it down a little bit. So we’ve already added our second image, so this is pretty fast here. And then I can look here, and Smart Bidding best practices. Below that, I can add this image here, which this one looks pretty good. The Smart Bidding decision tree. So I’m gonna go here and grab this heading and just change this. Smart Bidding Best Practices. Best practices for Smart Bidding. So you can also just re-retitle it. Learn about Smart Bidding best practices. And then I’m gonna grab a little snippet in here. Boom. Done. Insert into page. I’ll make that flush left, shrink it down, down a little bit. So I’ve added three images in here of all the images I’ve done. I’m gonna hit update. So at this point, we have added three images to the page, and it should look a lot sexier. So let’s hit refresh.
13:49 Embedding and Centering YouTube Videos
And I have caching turned on, so I’m not sure. Yeah, looks like caching is fine. So now we have an image on the page, we have another image here, and another image here. And this is a long article, so we could add more images if we want to. But anyway, so we have three images here. So let’s move on to the next thing. We’ve generated AI images. Next, we wanna embed YouTube videos. So this job involves embedding one to two YouTube videos on the page, one near the top and one to the mid, n-near the middle. Or we could do the middle and the bottom. The point is that you’re not doing the same thing over and over again because, eh, that looks like a robot did it, right? So if an AI is watching this video or Claude, when I’m training you on this video, also factor in variety in here because us humans love variety, as you… So it’s kinda weird to talk to AI in a video, but hey, AIs are always watching. So we’re gonna go to the PushLeads YouTube channel in this case, and this is about… This whole article is about Google Ads. So I’m just gonna go to the YouTube channel, and I’m going to do a search on the channel. I’m gonna put Google Ads. And, and realistically, we can– If we– If you can find a video here that is my head talking or one of these, these are good. You can also do a short if you want to. And so we’re just gonna grab this one here, and I should be able to click on Share, and then I can click on Embed. And then here is my embed code, so I can just grab the whole embed code here. Gotcha, gotcha. And then on my edit the page, I’m gonna go down. We’ll go down, like, after the… We wanna visually think, here’s our first image, here’s navigation. We’ll add the video after the second paragraph. Now, in order to add the video, we need to add the code. We gotta click on the Code tab. So we are on the what is– what, uh, before the paragraph, what smart bidding strategy optimizes for value? What video … Okay. Anyway. And then paste, and now there’s our video there. So we’ve embedded the video there, and that’s good. And then we’ll go here. And what I’m looking for is another video here. So we can grab this one here. It’s a Verde. Why not? Boom. And Settings. Oh, how do you embed? Let’s scroll down. I’m gonna scroll down to the Share and then Embed, and Bob’s your uncle. I’m just gonna go down. I’m gonna go down. Let’s see. Let’s go down near the bottom. I’ll put this one at the very bottom of the article. You just have to scroll down to the very bottom for the JavaScript. Paste. So we got a video at the bottom. So now we have… Now if I hit Update, and let’s take a look at, see what it looks like. We always wanna visualize what this looks like. We always wanna visualize what this looks like in the output, so just adding that on the page is not enough. We need to double-check our work. So that’s okay. It’s not centered. We could center that if we wanted to. Go down here, and here’s our other one. We can center both of these quite easily by going to here and clicking on it and clicking the Center button or not. Okay, we can, we can center the video by going down to the embed code and just putting the word center before the iframe. And, and so you put, you put, um, bracket center, and then do bracket center at the end. And I’ll do the same thing at the, at the end here. It’s not super critical that we do that, but it does make it look sexier, and that’s what it’s all about. So I’m gonna go down here and just put… I’m putting bracket, center, bracket, and before the close of the iframe, bracket, backslash, center, bracket. So now if I hit Update, we should have two videos in here that are centered. Updating, refreshing. Perfect. So we have a video that’s centered. Look at that. Looks so much better. So again, all you do is to the– before the video, before the embed code, just do bracket, the word center with a cl- with a bracket, and at the end, close bracket, center. Same thing for the bottom. So we now have finished the step four, embedding the YouTube videos, and we’re doing our QA check out as we go. So step six is the final QA check. But if you are doing that, you should be good to go. The only thing we haven’t done yet is we haven’t added a yes. So is it missing images? No, it’s not missing images. And No, it’s not missing video, and I’m gonna go in and put no, it’s not missing the infographic because we’re gonna add the infographic next.
18:24 Creating and Adding Infographics
All right, and so that’s our next step is involving infographics. So for infographics, I’m going back to ChatGPT and asking it to come with infographics for the article, and I’m gonna do the same thing in Claude, infographics for the article. I don’t know if, if, Midjourney will do that. I don’t think it will. And but both of these are, will be doing fine. So, so it comes up with infographics ideas. So we can say create infographics for number one, and then back to Claude. It’s gonna work on that. So Claude seemed to do pretty good job on infographics. You can also use Nano Banana, Nano Banana, Nano Banana, which we haven’t done yet, but we’ll do, we’ll do it. Nano Banana, Nano Banana. Try it. It’s just Gemini, and you go to try Geno… Nano Banana. And I’m gonna grab the whole article and say, "Come up with an infographic for this article." Paste the article, and let’s see what it comes up with. Okay, so that was Midjourney. Okay, Gemini came up with this first, and this looks the best so far. Of course, it’s the only one I’ve seen so far. But I’m gonna go ahead and save this one. And if you want, you can actually save the file name and the article. Um, so using Smart Bidding, Smart Bidding for Google Ads. Need to learn how to spell. Okay, still working on things there. And we have one here, another infographic. I’m gonna say, "Which Smart Bidding strategy should I use?" And you can’t do a question mark, of course. All right, so we have two infographics. Claude also came up with one. Claude. Now, Claude is pretty good too. These are simpler. I like that one too, Smart Bidding signals, and I’m gonna rename that one as Google Ads Smart Bidding signals. All right, so we’ve done all of that, and now we’re gonna add one or two. Now, our, our article is already starting to get somewhat chunky at this point, right? We’ve gotta make sure that we’re not overstuffing it. And, and, we have a, we have a hero image, we have a video, another infographic. We have some space in the middle for, for some infographics in this chunk here. And then we have a video at the bottom. So we have a- enough for two infographics in here, which I don’t think would overkill it. So I’m gonna go to the middle chunk, this area here, and add an infographic here. And we’ll add the ChatGPT one. So I’m gonna add media, and I can just drag my images on here. And don’t forget to do variants of the alt text, title, image caption, and description. And we can make this one center, this one as a large one, so that looks good. I can do one more infographic, let’s see here, probably down in the FAQ section if I want to. I’m gonna hit update, though. I have one infographic. So this is where we need to sort of look at the final page. And for Claude, for Claude, talking to you right now, and when you are looking at the page and adding infographics, use P- use PB Push Browse to make sure that we’re not adding too much visual content across the site, right? Across the page. Scan the page in desktop and mobile v- mobile view. And so yeah. I’m gonna go add another infographic flush right here ’cause some of these, Claude came up with one that was a simpler one, and, and it’s sort of like an infographic here, which smart value. I think this one is good here. Wanna make sure I’m not double-checking it here. Okay. You’re making me sweat here. I, I did the alt text, title, description, and caption, and we’re gonna insert this one in here. I’m gonna do flush right. Gonna make sure I don’t have two of the same infographics. Um, so I think I did. Aha, caught myself. I thought I was about to wreck myself. Check yourself before you wreck yourself. And make sure you don’t add two of the same infographics because it’s so easy to add content. But the question is, is it overkill, or are you adding too much? And so, so I think this is just in downloads. Here we go. It’s Google Ad Smart Bidding signals. I’m gonna copy this title here and put that in here. And I could see here that I also uploaded the video, the image earlier. So if you watch yourself when you’re uploading, you’ll see if you’re uploading the sa- same image twice, which is a tell-tale bit sign there. So, Smart Bidding signals for Google Ads. Grab some content in here. Add a FAQ in here. Why not? Add some variety there. AI’s read it, so why not just add FAQs? Okay, so now I’m gonna hit update. So I think after this long process, we should have a lot of great content on this article: images, infographics, and two videos. And this should be super sexy, super awesome. So we have the, our hero image, we have our video there, we have another infographic here, another infographic here, another infographic here, and a video there at the bottom. If I wanted to, I could add another image, but I think this is pretty good. So, the last step is your final QA and QC check.
23:50 Final QA Check and Page Standards
After we’re done, you wanna make sure we have two to three images in the article. I would say at least two videos and two infographics for long articles. For short articles, one video, one infographic. Wanna make sure there’s no formatting issues on the entire page, which we already looked at. If you’ve done all of that, you can go ahead and mark a yes, which is, it’s done. And guess what? You’ve done one page. Now we just have eight hundred and seventy-four more pages to do. This is why we might train an AI to help with some of this process. But this is a, is a, uh, process that will help improve the user experience on the site, and this is something that our clients should have on their site, so we don’t just have pages that are just with content without beautification. All right. I’m Jeremy Ashburn with PushLeads, and we help small businesses get more leads without struggle and frustration. Talk to you soon.
